Maximum of 2 per person.

it is highly unlikely that any tickets will be availiable when you arive in NY but they do hold a lotery for a few $26 tickets which they draw 2 hours before curtain up, but you take your luck with loads of other people, they are not on sale at the discount booths either, so bite the bullet and get them on ticketmaster

After researching posts on TA, I decided to go with Ticketmaster. I've gotten used to all the fees they tack on. They're unavoidable, so I just pay them. I looked for tickets through some of the other ticket vendors, but ended up back at Ticketmaster.

wonderfull, i hope you enjoy, we have great tickets for end of september booked last year so we could get our pick of seats, so excited, i've seen it in london with Idina Menzel, wonderfull!! hubby not seen it yet, so i'm doubly excited, can't wait

Forget all that you know about The Wizard of Oz and be transported once again to the magical land of Oz! This time, however, the action takes place way before the arrival of Dorothy and her pooch Toto. Wicked is the story of two magically inclined women, one blonde, and one green of skin - and their coming of age as the forces of good and (perceived) 'wicked'.

Anyone willing to wake up and get to the box office early, spend some time in a line, or stand during the show, can get greatly discounted tickets to the majority of shows on Broadway. Or if none of those options appeal, several Broadway shows now offer digital or online lotteries. The idea of a rush for affordable tickets all started with Rent, which, at the peak of its popularity, sold all seats in the first two rows of the orchestra for $20 to whomever would get to the box office in time on the day of the performance. (Read more about the history of the Broadway rush line here.)

We sell these seats because for many fans the limited view is not a problem, and the tickets are clearly labeled at time of purchase (see photo below). Limited view seating varies event to event and could be something as small as a tiny corner of the stage being blocked from view. Call our box office at 615-782-4040 for additional information on limited view seating.

The best (and almost the only) way to get tickets to see Wicked is online and in advance. If you wait to buy them at the box office, I'll be honest, it's hard to get a seat, let alone a good location.

Wicked is one of the most seen musicals in the Big Apple, with box office records. And despite the fact that it is performed 8 times a week and in the biggest theatre on Broadway, getting tickets is not something you can leave to improvisation. You only need to take a walk through the New York underground to see it full of posters advertising Wicked as one of the top musicals to be seen in the Big Apple, and that's after years of running.

The Gershwin Theatre is one of the biggest theatres on Broadway. So if you don't want to spend a lot on front row tickets, I suggest you look in the middle of the Mezzanine section, so you'll be able to see the show at an affordable price.
